NASDAQ Stock Code: AAPL - Apple Inc - The Story - The Stock Price - iPods - iPhones
I found an interesting read on the Apple Inc company that I think you should have a read of.
It’s a great tale of how the company nearly went out of business and how through planning and innovation has come out on top with its share price showing the results. There is a great picture there showing the stock price when announcements were made and when products were shipped and the effect on the stock price. Check out where the stock price went after the iPhone announcement…
A good read about business and stocks.

No commentsRich Dad Podcasts
Hopefully you’ve all read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. If not head on over to your favourite online book store and get it right now! This was the book that got myself and a lot of other people into financial education and investing. I just wish I read it about 5 years earlier.
The author Robert Kiyosaki is a great teacher of how the the financial world works. He is always alerting you to what the rich do and what the poor do to help you change your financial habits. His main emphasis is on becoming an investor and or business owner and not being an employee or self employed. That is what the rich do, and that is what he encourages and teaches you to do.
The Rich Dad website has a heap of audio and video podcasts available for download. In these podcasts Robert and friends go through a range of different information to help you on your way to financial freedom. Its all good information that’s well worth the download.
There’s nothing like getting free advice so head on over to the Rich Dad site and get yours now.
Robert, his wife and other associates have also written many other books that are well worth while.
No commentsMust I Play Golf to get Ahead?
Well in the business arena, the answer is pretty much a yes. Executives, business owners, entrepreneurs and wealthy socialites love their golf, so so should you!
Heres some stats for you:
- A 2004 survey of 1,000 women golfers, 73% said that the game had helped them develop important business relationships
- 705 women managers at Fortune 1,000 companies, 41% said that not participating in informal social networks held them back at work, the activity they mentioned most was golf.
Some tips for on the golf course:
- keep your eye on people’s balls, so you know exactly where it lands. When you find the ball for them, “people are relieved, and they see you as someone who’s on top of things, who pays attention to detail.”
- Don’t force a discussion of business topics on the golf course. “Save it for the ‘19th hole”.
- Take the focus off your game and keep it on theirs
